Neuschwanstein Castle
In 1869, the Bavarian King Ludwig II. set out to have one of his dreams come true in the New Swan Castle built on a steep mountain side and picturesque location overlooking the nearby mountain lake. A tour of the castle will take you to colourful and sumptuous 19th century furnishing and into the fantastic world of sagas, e.g. that of the swan knight Lohengrin.
